Christopher Lynk has some words to say.

Where'd Lynk Go?

I promised myself it wouldn't come to this. One of the most irritating blog-related faux-pas ever since the first GeoCities accounts is the apologetic entry where the author claims he's been too busy to update. I've little to complain about; we're on the brink of some pretty amazing things at work. It's been consuming my life, but it has been completely worth it. Best of all, I've learned that my body was built to sustain itself on three hours of sleep, with or without a healthy diet of Hot Pockets, Reese's Pieces, and Mountain Dew. While there's still a whole lot of great projects on my plate, things are starting to level out, and the world is going to see a bit more Lynk again.

Sweet Mana from HeavenI've got a handful of personal projects queued up in my pipeline. One of them is to give this blog the attention it deserves. I've held many blogs before. About two years ago, I shut the cover of a fairly ambitious blog I had hosted on Live Journal. Despite the stereotypes of the typical live journalist, I found their feature list quite robust, with friend feeds, groups, and so forth. I promptly moved to Blogger, which at the time felt like the most essential blogging engine of all time, despite lacking some of the features that made Live Journal fantastic. I kept that up for a few months, although I knew it was definitely time to break out and do my own thing.

Now that I've settled on the CMS and design, I feel it really should be my duty to keep the content flowing. Gosh, listen to me; clamoring about like a web marketing agent. I don't know about you, but as a visitor of mynameisLynk.com, I'd imagine you're here for the entertainment. Unless you are stalking me, which I wouldn't doubt or blame you for. Ladies, please.

Now that I've learned that I thrive better on three hours of sleep than eight, an entire five hours of opportune me time has opened up that I plan on taking full advantage of. That's right folks, I'm going to level my Rogue to 80. Wait, no. I'm going to work on my artwork.

Sleep is a non-issue

My pee is now radioactive.

It's going to be a slow process; I recently learned that I cannot draw anymore, despite it being my major/second biggest pastime for the majority of my life. After nearly two years of not doing some

thing can really push you back, and I plan on restoring my talent-tree to what it was before the patch reset it. I'll be using this site as a gallery/portfolio of my testament, so visitors can expect that. I've been in this funk for a while now, so it's time to take advantage of the juice while it's still fizzing in my system. I'm setting quotas for myself, and expecting results. A sketchbook has become a permanent relic of my living room, and I forbid anyone to move it. If I could write an app that prevents Firefox from opening before I save a Photoshop file, I'd be even more efficient.

I've laid out my goals; commencements start today. I'm taking requests too. What do you want to see?

I'll end this now with possibly the greatest representation on how I've felt the past month or so. It's good to reach critical mass but still feel like you're rocking it like a champ.
